Check out this awesome FULLY RESTORED 70s vintage cuff bracelet watch!

This bold 1974 Seiko bracelet watch is a timeless, simple design. It has a brushed gold-tone finish, minimalist rectangular case, simple black dial with gold-tone pointed baton hands, and a hand-winding mechanical watch movement. The metal cuff has a solid front half, and the back half is made of links that can expand to fit wrists up to 7.75" around. And, I FULLY RESTORED the mechanical movement to work like it did when it was first made, way back in July 1974.

Forbes, Inc, and Money magazines all agree: Seiko watches are hands down the best watches in the world for the money. They're indestructible, cool-looking, easy to use, and remarkably affordable.

It's an attention getter. You can't wear it without someone asking you about it. Try it, you'll see what I mean. The slightly chunky will work great under a jacket or with short sleeved shirts and dresses. It adds strong gold accent to casual outfits, denim, date night, business casual, and ESPECIALLY little black dresses and sleeveless formalwear. (BONUS: It's a must for Macross, Mazinger, and Gundam cosplay outfits!)

The polished stainless steel case features a 17 jewel "calibre 11A" hand-winding mechanical movement. What are these jewels? They're special rubies inside the watch that keep the gears working forever. More rubies = more expensive = more prestigious = more accurate = longer life.

BUT THERE'S MORE: It has a high-frequency (aka high beat) movement, meaning more "ticks" per second—for "greater precision." It operates at 21,600 beats/hour, versus the normal 18,000 beats/hour. (Are high beat movements really way more accurate? Not really. But they were cool, and definitely more expensive. So, at least there's that.)

SIZE NOTE: It fits wrists up to a MAX of 7.75" (19.7cm). (Measure around your wrist with a measuring tape before ordering.) You can have any jeweler remove links for a smaller wrist. You can even replace the band with any other 14mm band, if you want. It's quite versatile.

    • Original 14mm expendable metal cuff bracelet fits wrists up to 7.75" (19.7cm) around
    • Six month warranty for the FULLY RESTORED mechanical workings

    •• CONDITION ••

It's cosmetically in EXCELLENT condition. There are faint signs of wear on the case, crown, and bracelet commensurate with age. However, the dial, hands, caseback, and movement appear near mint. The crystal has been polished to remove all scratches. It looks FANTASTIC on the wrist.

HOW DOES IT RUN? The mechanical condition of the Japanese-made 17 jewel 11A mechanical movement is LIKE NEW. I fully restored it to ensure you're getting a dependable, functional timepiece. Every single tiny piece was disassembled, cleaned, inspected, adjusted, reassembled, and calibrated to keep time as well as the day it was first made. Sounds expensive? It was. A full servicing, cleaning, polishing, and mechanical restoration like this generally costs at least $150. (That's over $150 that YOU don't have to pay.)

    •• OPERATION ••

Wind it once daily. It's ok if you forget and skip a day or so, because it has a 45 hour power reserve! If you want it to last longer than a lifetime, keep it wound even when you're not wearing it. That'll keep it running FOREVER. (Inertia is cool that way.)

It's not water resistant. Keep it dry!

Of course, it's not about telling time. It's about how it makes you feel. For creative individualists, a watch is a powerful tool that amplifies the expression of your individuality.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Will my package require a signature?

Yes. A signature is required for all shipments. That way you can rest assured that your items will arrive safely. Make sure to use a shipping address where someone can sign for your package, otherwise you'll have to go to the post office to collect it.

What shipping method do you use?

Items with free shipping are sent by USPS First Class with insurance and signature required.
International orders ship via USPS Priority.
Upgraded shipping is USPS Priority Express mail with insurance and signature required.

Can I upgrade to faster shipping?

Yes! Upgraded shipping is via USPS Priority Express Mail with insurance and signature required. It usually takes 1-2 days within the continental USA.

Can I get a different colored watchband?

I have watchbands in many different styles, colors and materials. If you love the watch but want a different color band, send me a message. I'll see if I have the color you want in my inventory. If I don't, you can swap out the band for any strap you'd like by buying one online or taking it to your local jeweler or watch repair store.

Does my watch need a battery?

    It depends on the watch.

    1) Mechanical (hand-winding): These watches use a spring and gears to run. There is no battery. You must wind the watch once daily for it to keep running. Most of my watches are this kind.

    2) Mechanical (automatic/kinetic): These use a spring and gears as well as a swinging pendulum that rotates as you move throughout the day. It winds itself. You don't need a battery and you don't need to wind it.

    3) Quartz: These use batteries. Your watch will include a brand new battery. They can last anywhere from six months to a few years, depending on the watch.

I changed my mind! Can I cancel my order and get a full refund?

We don't accept cancellations for a refund. Instead, we offer you store credit which you can use on any of our other items. This store credit is good for one year.

Will the vintage watchband fit me?

Use a measuring tape to measure around your wrist.

All my detailed descriptions include the max wrist size of the bracelet. Bracelets are standardized. They're not an integral part of the watch itself. It's easy to change the band.

    Gift wrapping and packaging

My gift wrapping is awesome. Choose the gift wrapping upgrade during checkout. Make sure to let me know the name of the person getting the gift so I can write it on the card.

    Bigger/Smaller Bracelets?

The bracelet (aka band or strap) is usually NOT an integral part of the "watch" itself. It's normal (and somewhat expected) that you'll have a jeweler adjust the band to fit you, or replace the band with one that you can try on in person. Watchbands are standardized and available from any jeweler, watch shop, and online.
