This 1960s Waltham unisex vintage automatic winding watch is classy example of mid-century timepieces. The simple, champagne dial is simple, elegant. It has silver tone and black baton hands and a Rolex style sweeping stick second hand. I mounted it on a classic 18mm hypoallergenic black calfskin leather band, which accents the timeless design. The band fits wrists up to 8.25" (21.0cm). (Contact me if you want a different band.)

It's the perfect mid-century unisex size of 35mm (1.4") wide. It's almost exactly the same size as the classic Rolex Datejust, and a little bigger than the original 1980s Swatch. It was sold as a men's watch, but it will elegantly grace wrists of any gender!

And, you know what the best part is? I LOVINGLY restored this watch to operate like it did when it was new, way back in the late 1960s. YOU'RE WELCOME!

🔎 CONDITION 🔍

It's cosmetically in VERY GOOD used condition. The case and crown show light signs of wear commensurate with age. The mechanical movement is pristine. The bracelet is new old stock and unworn, but it has a scuff on the backside of it. This blemish can't be seen when wearing it. Check out the detailed photos.

HOW DOES IT RUN? The 17 jewel 90-5 automatic mechanical movement runs great I fully restored it to ensure you're getting a dependable, functional timepiece. Every single tiny piece of this watch was disassembled, cleaned, inspected, adjusted, reassembled, and calibrated to keep time as well as the day it was first made. Sounds complicated and expensive? It was. A full servicing and mechanical restoration like this generally costs at least $200. (That's over $200 that YOU don't have to pay.)

FUN FACT: The screws in this watch are so tiny that 4,000 of them fit in a thimble!

⏰ OPERATION ⏰

This is an automatic self-winding mechanical watch. No battery. It winds itself as you wear it using the motion of your wrist.

Set the time by pulling the winding crown out to the first detent and rotating it.

I have not personally pressure tested it to confirm. Play it safe and keep it out of the water.

Of course, it's not about telling time. It's about how it makes you feel. For creative individualists, a watch is a powerful tool that amplifies the expression of your individuality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my package require a signature?

Yes. A signature is required for all shipments. That way you can rest assured that your items will arrive safely. Make sure to use a shipping address where someone can sign for your package, otherwise you'll have to go to the post office to collect it.

What shipping method do you use?

Items with free shipping are sent by USPS First Class with insurance and signature required. Upgraded shipping is USPS Priority Express mail with insurance and signature required.

Can I upgrade to faster shipping?

Yes! Upgraded shipping is via USPS Priority Express Mail with insurance and signature required. It usually takes 1-2 days within the continental USA.

Can I get a different colored watchband?

I have watchbands in many different styles, colors and materials. If you love the watch but want a different color band, send me a message. I'll see if I have the color you want in my inventory. If I don't, you can swap out the band for any strap you'd like by buying one online or taking it to your local jeweler or watch repair store.

Does my watch need a battery?

It depends on the watch.

1) Mechanical (hand-winding): These watches use a spring and gears to run. There is no battery. You must wind the watch once daily for it to keep running. Most of my watches are this kind.

2) Mechanical (automatic/kinetic): These use a spring and gears as well as a swinging pendulum that rotates as you move throughout the day. It winds itself. You don't need a battery and you don't need to wind it.

3) Quartz: These use batteries. Your watch will include a brand new battery. They can last anywhere from six months to a few years, depending on the watch.

I changed my mind! Can I cancel my order and get a full refund?

We don't accept cancellations for a refund. Instead, we offer you store credit which you can use on any of our other items. This store credit is good for one year.
